ELEVATED FRUIT MYCOLOGY
Let's Explore the Amazing World of Fungi

ABOUT ME
Mycologist. Naturalist. Photographer. Hiker. Mushroom Enthusiast.
Aaron Keaton is a mycologist currently based out of Plymouth, MA. A graduate from Keene State College, he has continued to study fungi throughout New Hampshire as well as his hometown of Plymouth. Aaron’s work emphasizes the ecological role of fungi, highlighting the benefits they provide for the environment. He also is interested in their practical use as food, medicine, and their impact on culture.
Through photographing and documenting fungi he is able to learn more about the diversity of fungi around us. Taking a step farther, Aaron collects samples and creates cultures of individual species. Not only can these samples be further studied, they can also be used to grow wild specimens yourself. They also provide a genetic clone that can be stored for years. This creates a library of specimens, preserving mycodiversity.
